Privacy at SEND IT

SEND IT is a golf competition scoring and live-leaderboard service. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the web app or iOS app.

Information SEND IT stores

When a competition is created, SEND IT stores the information required to run and share it, including the competition name and settings, player names, playing handicaps, team assignments, golf scores, course and tee information, competition rules and side-game winners.

If an organiser uses My Trips, SEND IT also stores the organiser mapping needed to reopen saved competitions. A lightweight device/browser identifier may be used to keep that organiser access working on the same device.

How the information is used

The information is used to provide competition setup, team draws, score entry, shared scorecards, saved trips and live leaderboards. SEND IT does not use GPS tracking, advertising profiles or cross-app tracking.

Sharing

Competition information is visible to people who receive the relevant competition links. Player scoring links and organiser/admin links contain access tokens and should only be shared with the intended people.

Course-data providers and infrastructure

Course and scorecard information may be obtained from GolfCourseAPI, GolfCore and GolfAPI.io where available. SEND IT is hosted on Cloudflare infrastructure and competition data is stored in Cloudflare D1.

Accounts and sign-in

Players do not need an account to participate in a competition. Organiser features such as My Trips may use a sign-in or same-device organiser identity where enabled.

Retention and deletion

Competition information is retained so shared links and saved trips continue to work. If you want help with a competition or want to request deletion of information associated with a competition, use the SEND IT support page and include enough information to identify the competition without posting an admin token publicly.

Your choices

Only enter information you are comfortable sharing with the people in your competition. Do not share player scoring or organiser/admin links more widely than intended.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as SEND IT adds features, changes providers or changes its data practices. The date at the top of this page will be updated when that happens.
